I fixed this issue, and amp ran fine for years. With the most recent issues, I pulled the amp apart and found a loose ribbon cable. Fixed that issue. Amp continued to go into protect mode. WebAssuming you got the proper voltage to start with, unplug the RCAs and disconnect the wires going to the sub from the amp and power it on (power on the head unit as normal). If it goes into protect, check the voltage at the amp again. Same as before, and while you're there check for voltage on the remote wire.
